ABOUT US
KINGDOM RIVER CANE CORSO is a newly owned Cane Corso breeding Company, owned and operated by breeders Vernon and Shanah Roberts. Their wealth of knowledge of the breed, gives appreciation to the mentoring of Darrel Hamren owner of Mad River Cane Corso in Cable, Ohio, who presently have become one of the top breeders of Cane Corso puppies in the country.
We are proud to say that all of our dogs are from Mad River Cane Corso, Alcor’s Cane Corso and Americana’s Bloodline, out of Ohio. We have studied and worked very hard to keep the true body and blood type of the Corso breed. Our dogs have Grand Champions in their bloodlines and throughout their generation. Our foundation remains rooted in passion for the breed. Our dogs possess the breed’s iconic physique, they are smart, trainable, eager to please, loyal, noble, confident, and fearless protectors. By no means at all , do we proclaim to know it all, but as the program grows and matures we continue to learn from our mentors and experiences. Our vision and how to get there, has become ever clearer throughout the process. We focus on those dogs that we feel best exemplify the Italian Cane Corso of years passed.
Over the years we have seen how the breed has become watered down and has not kept up with the overall presentation of the breed. We take pride in our work and strive for the spirit of excellence, but most of all we practice integrity in our company and in every aspect of our lives. We are more determined then ever to stay the course to cultivate the very best “traditional-style” Corso’s that we can. Being blessed with many relationships we have built throughout our journey from not only friends, but also mentors such Mad River Cane Corso, we plan to maintain our program for the indefinite future and to continue working within our bloodlines and those we feel will allow us to better our lines and the breed as whole.
